Still in pain, still have elevated ALP

by beebug, Oct 12, 2002 12:00AM
I have had URQ pain since May, chronic elevated ALP (145).  I have been to 3 doctors for this. With no answers. I am getting referred to another (bile duct specialist) and have an appt. with him on Tuesday.  My question is, should this have been drawn out this long?  It doesn't seem like the doctors have been in any hurry to resolve this.  In the meantime, I am in pain and frustration every day. Has anyone out there had any symptoms similar to mine, and if so what did they find out it was?
