For years now I've had this extreme discomfort in my stomach. Stomach aches every day and excessively gaseous. It's prevented me from going to school because my stomach would rumble so loudly, it would disrupt the class and be so embarrassing. Definitely worsens with nerves, but couldn't concentrate the entire two hours of class, because I was constantly thinking it was going to make a noise. I took morning classes right after breakfast, midday classes and evening classes, tried all different combinations to see if my stomach would quiet down before or after I ate, and the same thing happened everytime. I need to go back to school and finally graduate with my degree and not let my stupid stomach hold me back any longer, but I have so much anxiety over it. I could deal with the pain or discomfort, it's the noises that are killing me! It sounds like an extremely loud hunger rumble, and also sounds like flatulence (which is obviously the most embarrassing part). Tried Gas-X, beano, probiotics, nothing has seemed to work. Any ideas? Any other medicines you recommend trying? Anything for anxiety to settle my stomach? Thanks!
