Stomach Pain over two months

by yani, Oct 01, 2001 12:00AM
Since July I have been experiencing Weight Loss (over 10 pounds)
, headaches, dizziness When first waking up, my stomach hurts all over when breathing deeply, this pain also develops on right upper quadrant, other times a bit lower to the right side. Pain is relived by antacids. It also hurts after meals

On October of last year I was diagnosed with H pylori. Treated with Helidac Therapy which I could not tolerate and only finished 1 week of treatment. All my symptoms disappeared. I did not have any stomach problems until now. Was never again tested for H pylori eradication.

I was seen by a different doctor in July who suspected I again had H pylori, and without testing (due to health insurance expiration) prescribed another Helidac therapy along with Prevacid 30mg twice daily. I again could not tolerate this therapy and only completed 5 days (due to vomiting) Since then I have continued using Prevacid, symptoms were relieved but not gone completely and also developed headaches and dizziness while on Prevacid. I have now discontinued all medication and taking zantag to relieve stomach pain. Diziness has been persistent. What could this be? What tests should I get done?

Yes, I have the problem in my stomach for 7 years. I'm 32 now, 4 years ago I quit my job because of this, now I can only stay at home but the problem never goes away.

my email is LIM_JOO***@****

10 years ago, I was diagnosed as some kind of gall problem, then I stop working for six months for treatment

4 years ago, I was diagnosed and x-ray to have "most probably" Pulmanary Tuberculosis, then I stop working for another six months for treatment. In the meantime I also had Losec.
But it wasn't these medicines that cured my problem, it was swimming and change of lifestyle that really cured me. (for at least few years).
Now, for 2 months continuously, my stomach problem became severe, symptoms are as follow:
hiccuping, burping, stomach bloated, stomach burning, throat burning, heavy breathing, body muscles tighten-burning-fatigue. worst is the last 3 days I couldn't sleep well because whenever after meals my stomach can't digest, my stomach feel pain-bloated. I have a feeling like end-of-my-life now. Can anyone help me?

I don't smoke, sleep early, swimming, jogging, occasionally beer (twice a month), I stop eating spicy foods.

I am running out of ideas, what can it be? Friends told me it could be Helicobacter Pylori, Gall problem, Liver problem, intesninal problem, Tuberculosis.

Thanks

Joo
