Stomach Spasm

by utada912, Dec 01, 2008 10:34AM
I have experienced a pretty severe stomach spasm for the past 1 year or so.  The first time it hit me really bad was a little more than 1 year ago when I was pregnant.  During the middle of the night around 3am or so, I felt a really bad stomachache, then I thought I probably need a bowel movement.  So I went to the toilet and had a bowel movement, after that, my pain became more severe and it feels like I was having an empty stomach.  Then I felt my stomach muscles were strangling and beating my stomach.  My stomach spasm pain lasted for more than 1 hr, it makes me feel like I don't want to live anymore.  After this incident, the pain of stomach spasm occurs about 3-4 months, it always tend to occur during the middle of the night.  Last night, it just happened again with all the same symptoms.  I am not what is the ultimate casuses of this syndrome? please help.
