Stomach ache every morning until eat some and then stop but will ache again when hungry?

I would like to know what was wrong with me? After my Gout treatment, I started to get stomach eche in the top of the stomach every morning. It go away after I eat but as soon as I am hungry it starts to hurt again. It hurts 3 to 4 times a day. I thought it was gas so I did take some over the counter gas medication such as GasX and Mylanta. I thought it might be the medication that I took for Gout but I already stopped taking the Gout medication long ago. Does anyone know what I got? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
