in my stomach. The next day, my stomach looked even worse and I had rashes all over my arms, and I found out a week later that I had an allergic reaction
. I've been back & forth to doctors including my local internist, local gastro specialist and was sent to UVA Medical Center and Johns Hopkins. My arrhythmia
specialist said they didn't do anything different to cause this kind of distention. I've had 8 tests done including x-ray, CT scan, upper GI, ultrasound, endoscopy, colonoscopy and the last one is MRI/MRA. So far I've been told everything's normal. So why is it that I've been having pains (sharp & deep) right in the middle of my stomach. I can't eat much because the pain comes right after every meal. In July, my weight went sky high & then starting in late October, the rest of my body started losing weight. My stomach still looks like I'm pregnant and I've been mistaken for one. This has left me depressed at times and frustrated. My a-fib came back less than two months after the ablation but because of the other pains I'm feeling, I tend to ignore the a-fib since I lived with it (205 bpm) from 2002 until the ablation. It's sad but my body has become immuned to all these. Have you heard of anyone who had this effect? One thing I remember happening was when they took out the first cathether from my left groin, it was so painful & blood was just spurting out all over. Any comments would be helpful.
I'd an ablation done in 1985 (His bundle). No swelling in the tummy. Now my tummy blow up like a six month pregnancy women. The Dr said is fine, nothing wrong. Been many tests, plus pregnancy test...? And my heart run like a train too.... nothing wrong????
