Stomach pain a month after Appendectomy

My 9 year old had a Appendectomy a month ago and after a week in the hospital he's still not having much physical activity and still reating for the most part. This morning he started having a bad stomach ache and it's been off and on all day. Could this have anything to do with his Appendcitus?

Sorry, I haven't checked in again. Have you put a call into the surgeons office? How's your son doing?

Does he have fever or a rapid heartrate? I'd be cautious of post-op abscess
