-x but didn't help. I hadn't gone to the bathroom in a few weeks and the pain got to be too much, so I went into the doctor, and he sent me to the hospital where they did a CT scan and said I had Diverticulitis. After three days on anti biotic treatment, everything came out, and I felt so much better.
I was given a list of things I should not eat from that point on, but not on the list was Iceburg lettuce, and I have seen stories of people who get the severe pain I got ...again when I ate iceburg lettuce. Went back to the doctor anti biotics got me somewhat better this time, but I still feel strained to go to the bathroom, there contantly feels like there is a weight on my bladder making want to urinate, but when I do the flow is weak. I feel like I got to go to the bathroom all the time, and when something does come out, it is normally liquid. Now my belly is making loud noises and I can actually feel my food moving from one side to the other in my colon after I eat, it is not majorly painfull, but not gentle either. I am still struggling to go to the bathroom, and when I can't go I sill feel a weight in my stomach and gasey.
I am 32 years old, I take fiber suppluments, I am over weight but not obecese. Male.
