Stomach pain

I have stomach pain all the time. The pain is where the actual stomach would be. It is a gnawing pain that never goes away. I can't eat but when I do get a little down the pain becomes severe then I feel it working all the way through which is like a burning pain. I have lost 33 lbs in this past month. I have to wait 6 weeks before my dr can see me but I don't know if I can wait that long. What could being causing this. I do take Prilosec OTC which keeps the heartburn away but not this pain.
