Stomach ulcer causing high white blood cell count ?

by Otherwise Healthy, Nov 17, 2001 12:00AM
I have had a persistent stomach ache for some weeks and a blood test showed a slightly high white blood cell reading of 13.7, everything else normal.

This is likely an ulcer, but I can uncertain if an ulcer would cause high white blood cell count ?
