Stone where gallbladder used to be

My mother went to the ER and found out she had a HUGE stone where her gallbladder used to be, but after 2 dr appts and NO help, she doesnt know what to do or who to call for an appt. Everyone she has gone to has just told her sorry they cant help her. What are some ways to treat this or what could it be? Who would she call that may help her?

It will depend on how large the stone is. If it's extremely large, she may have to be placed on some meds to try to dissolve some of it. Once that can be done, she may have to have an ERCP procedure to try to remove the stone. She needs to be seen by a GI person who specializes in biliary issues.
