Strange addiction

Hi.

I'm a 24 year old female.
And since I can remember I've had a strange "addiction" it's embarrassing to talk about, but it's getting out of control now, and I need help.

I hold in my poop, for as long as I can. I don't no why, but its out of hand. I've currently been having lower back problems. And I went to my doctor, and I mentioned what I do. So he checked my stomach. And it turns out I have what I call a poo baby, but he thinks it's the reason I'm having back problems. So I'm on laxatives, and he said he hopes they will help me go and release the pressure from my back. And hopefully stop be from holding. But I still try to hold, even on laxatives. But I really am starting to worry and don't no what to do, please help. I don't want to so this anymore. But can't stop!
