Sugar causing bad stomach-aches and headaches

In the last few years, I have found that many foods really hurt my stomach. Lately I find that most sugar (especially in candy/chocolate) makes my stomach hurt for a few hours, and also gives me headaches. Coffee does the same, whether it's caf or decaf. I also don't feel well after breads, crackers, that sort of thing. Is it an issue with refined sugar??

Maybe you have yeast overgrowth, which can occur when your body doesn't digest certain foods, especially gluten and cow's milk products.  Since some people cannot break down the proteins in these foods, yeast proliferate.  Sugar would also feed the yeast.  Maybe try a lower carb diet (if it's ok w ith your doctor), avoiding all sugar and gluten and milk products.   It's not an easy diet to follow, but it will help you find out what you can and cannot tolerate.  Hope this helps.
