Sulfer belching, diarrhea and vommitting

I have read a lot of peoples information about having the sulfer, rotten egg belching, then going into diarrhea and vommitting, though I have not seen any information on a real cure. It is so uncomfortable and exhausting. I have gone into this situation 4 times in the past week each lasting from 5-6pm through to 4am. It doubles you over with gas pain in the stomach and bowels, awful diarrhea and vommitting. I am on Prilosec for my acid reflux but what can be done for this problem? I went to my Dr. yesterday and she started me on Align yesterday, though I was up all night with the belching, diarrhea and vommitting. Please give me some ideas on what to do to correct this problem.
