Surgery Experience?

by NonnieWa, Mar 20, 2008 12:07PM
I've been diagnosed with a "giant" hemangioma and my husband and I want to start trying for our first child.  I'm supposing surgery would be a good idea to remove the hemangioma in this case (?).  Has anyone gone through the surgery who can tell me what recovery is like?

This discussion is related to Hepatic hemangioma.

You need to discuss this with your doc as it may depend on where the hemangioma is. Surgery may or may not be possible or warranted. You might want to look at a previous MedHelp answer to one poster: http://www.medhelp.org/forums/gastro/messages/36857.html

You could also check the archives to see if there are other posts about hemangiomas.
