Vascular spasm. I had a manometry done 3 weeks ago, showed LES
pressurePressure ulcer normal at 15mmHg, LES relaxation was normal. Manometry of the esophageal body: 10 swallows, all were peristaltic, 4 were slightly hypotensive with slightly amplitude. UES resting pressure was slightly low at 40 mmHg. Slightly lowe amplitude peristaltic contractions seen.
Does this explain why I have difficulty swallowing and tightness in my throat? Is the difficulty swallowing more likely a result of the 10 years of bulimia, or some other medical (neurological or other) problem?
Thanks.
I wish you well, take care :)
