For the past year my stomach has been very swollen, I look 9 months pregnant, the last couples of months, I've been having a very uncomfortable pain on my left side, near my rib cage, the past 3 weeks, my stomach feels like its burning.

Okay so it's defiantly not a diet issue. You could have an ulcer in your stomach or IBS. When you bloat like that try drinking 2-3 glasses of water along with 2 Advil to calm the pain and lessen the swelling. Next step would be a laxative if it continues for more than two hours.

I am exactly the same, like, exactly. Swollen stomach all the time for the past year or 2, but a few weeks ago started having a cramping sensation under my left rib cage. Sometimes the pain was really intense. The cramps and stomach pain started getting bad around 7/15. They finally got a little better the beginning of this week, but I still had the swollen stomach. Last night and today, no stomach pain, no swollen stomach. I have celiac and I started taking the new Celiact viatamin. I dont know for sure that this is what made the pain subside, but I took the viatamins for the first time yesterday, and last nite was the first time, no pain.
Do you have celiac disease? IBS? or anything like that. As weird as it sounds, I'm wondering if it was all just built up gas. Cuz I got a ct scan done cuz the dr was worried it may have been a hernia or enlarged spleen or pancreas. CT scan came back clean.
From what I know, the pain you describe can be spleen or pancreas related, gas, indegestion, celiac, or gastritis.

I have a bowel movement 2-3 daily, normally in the morning.
I eat only organic, I have a smoothie for breakfast, greek yogurt, a salad for lunch and brown rice and chicken for dinner, however this past month, my diet has been a little off, I started a new position in my job and sometimes I am too busy to even eat.
I try to drink as much water as I can, I drink about 6 cups, I also drink coconut water, no sodas, no juice
the pain is very mild, it comes and goes, no pattern, sometimes I feel uncomfortable but I have not noticed a pattern, sometimes I can feel the pain for days but right now its gone but yesterday I really felt it

I have a few questions to ask: How many times daily do you have a bowel movement?
What is your diet?
How much water do you consume on an average day?
Can you describe the pain? Such as does it come in patterns? Sharp and stabbing pain? Duration?

Once you answer those I should be able to help you
