Symptom no one has heard of

I'm told I have LPR.  Started immediately after a stomach bug, high fever and vomiting.  However there is one symptom no one has ever heard of and I can't find on the internet.  After I wake and I put anything in my stomach, my stomach may react or churn, I will immediately feel my throat swell and my lower jaw will start moving forward giving me and even or underbite.  Any time during the day if I feel any gas or churn, I feel it in my throat and my jaw may get worse.  At night, within an hour after laying down, it returns.  Has anyone ever heard of this.  I'd like to know what happens to push the jaw forward.  Perhaps I can figure out what's happening if I knew what is happening to push the jaw.  My other symptoms are pretty common for non heartburn LPR, except my throat will burn if I sleep on my left side but not my right side.
Kind of a bizarre thought.  My dog also started to have some nasty smelling reflux about the same time.  When she coughs, it smells very similar to the metally taste I sometimes get.  I wonder if there is some type of parasite that can cause gastric problems and can be passed to humans.  Perhaps my glands are swelling in reaction causing the jaw to move.  Anyone have any clues?
