I have been a drinker for years and went on vacation for
a week and drank a lot. After that I quit drinking as I have
not felt well and have symptoms of a liver disease. My
LFT are back to normal, my ultra sound was normal and I had
a liver spleen that came back normal. What are my chances of
cirrosis. I just had a biopsy and have to wait for the results.
If I have cirrosis whats the prognosis. Any treatment, how
long can one usually live with it.

Normal LFTs and a normal ultrasound do not suggest cirrhosis.  However, this is a pathological diagnosis, so the biopsy will be the definitive word.

The prognosis of cirrhosis would depend on the severity of the disease.  Once again, the biopsy will help in determining this.

Unfortunately, short of a liver transplant, there is no medical cure for cirrhosis.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
