TRANSAMINITIS

what exactaly is TRANSAMINITIS ?
Avatar_f_tn
Transaminases are enzymes that catalyze chemical reactions in the body, so an 'amino group is transferred from a donor molecule to a recipient molecule - it's a 'transferase." From what I understand, transaminitis is defined as an increase in alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and/or aspartate aminotransferase (AST) to  about 5 times the upper limit of normal.
