I've had 2 liver tests-for hep. C. First test showed positive. Couldn't believe it so I had another done. This time- Hep C-neg. Then I had a liver biop. done-still haven't gotten results in 3 wks. This week I've gone to a Endocrinology spec. - now I'm on WelChol- 4 tabs a day. Next wk I go for Colonoscopy test. I'm F, 60 yrs old, 50 lb. over weight. I went to my local Dr because of high choles;was put on Lipitor to lower choles. #, but my liver started acting up. With the WelChol tabs I'm getting alot of heartburn. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thank goodness for ins. I'm a little upset that these spec. don't share test info- they are in the same hospital. spider2

I always get copies of tests and reports. You have to ask for copies, and sometimes you have to insist. It helps a lot when you have to go to other docs. It is important for you to know as much as possible about your problem.
