Throat croaking

Hi,
Hope someone can help or share similar experiences.
Everytime I eat or drink, around half hour later, my throat & airway swells up, and my throat starts croaking like a frog, even with my mouth closed. I'm not burping, it just croaks on it's own. I had an upper GI test done last month, returned normal. I was put on Protonix & Prilosec, but after each meal or beverage, I get a croaking sound in my throat, once the swelling starts. Really strange !
I have an endoscopy appt in the morning, to figure out what it is.
Has anyone else had throat croaking ?? I have searched the net, and can't find anything on the symptom.
