A couple of months ago I had severe pain and pressurePressure ulcer in my lower right chest after eating a BBQ ribRib cage pain sub. I went to the ER, they ran some tests and tentatively diagnosed gall bladder disease. My physician scheduled a HIDA scan and based on the results referred me to a surgeon who told me I should have my gall bladder removed "at my earliest convenience".
During the exam I experienced no pain and only the tiniest moment of very slight nausea. Had they not warned me of nausea and pain and if I had not thus been looking for such symptoms to happen I might not even have noticed it at all. The ejection fraction of my gall bladder in the HIDA scan was 29%. The surgeon says the surgery is no big deal, in the hospital in the morning out in the eveningEvening primrose Evening primrose oil. Since the attack that sent me to the ER I've had no further problems. I eat what I want and as long as I don't overeat badly nothing I eat bothers me. Is this surgery really necessary or should I be looking for a second opinion.
