I have had chronic constipation since I was born. I have recently been diagnosed with colonic inertia. My surgeon is recommending a total colectomyLarge bowel resection in the next few weeks and I am alittle nervous. However, I am ready to be able to have a BM. Right now I have not had one in 19 days. The BM that I had before that was about 3 weeks prior. 2 BM's in about 5 1/2 weeks. I was wondering about the recoveryRecovery position - series period and what foods to avoid. I would appreciate any information. Thanks so much!
