You have written in to a Hepatitis C forum.  Toxoplasmosis is an infectious disease that is unrelated to Hep C. Perhaps there is someone on another forum that will be able to answer your question.  Please try re-posting.

Best of luck to you.

Lapis, this forum isn't just for Hep C.

Ibrahim, once you have a diagnosis of toxoplasmosis, your doc may have discussed the issue with you and it looks like you both decided that treatment was necessary. Typically, in an otherwise healthy person who is not pregnant, treatment may not or is not needed. Symptoms will usually go away within a few weeks. But for pregnant women or people who have weakened immune systems, drugs are available to treat the parasite that causes toxoplasmosis. I assume that that is why you are currently being treated. You need to get back to your doc about the black spots. Talk about the whole issue thoroughly.
