Tough to say for sure without examination. The healing time from this complication can vary from patient to patient. It is also possible that the surgery would help with the symptoms.
Normally, prostate issues do no affect bowel movements. Unless the prostate is markedly
enlargedEnlarged adenoids
Enlarged prostate, I would look for another cause. A
colonoscopy would be the most comprehensive test to evaluate the bowel movements.
