Troubled with Green Stools

by dhruv_garg, Jul 05, 2009 03:31AM
Hello Doctor, Myself -Dhiraj/M/28yrs/New Delhi, India.
Doctor, I had a Infection on 28th of may 2009 and loose motions for that my physician gave me a course of Antibiotics for 3 days. I took them for 2 days and felt quite comfort so skipped the 3rd days dose. after 2-3 days on 4th June 2009 i went to a dinner to celebrate my wife birthday at a restraunt with family that is considered to be really good hygine wise. Next day on 5h June in evening i felt some trouble with my stomach i went for a motion...after that i felt all is not OKAY with me and i asked my DAD to admit in a local nursing home. At that nursing home they gave me me some Anti biotics n other injections like MetroGel, Pantop and Monocef [anti-biotic] for 3 days. I reliverd from there on 8th June. n the Doctor didnt prescribed any medicine by saying that i dnt need any medicine further as he thought i was already given lil more than anti-biotics than needed. But after coming home I had Watery Green Motions 6-7 times a day for next 2 days. that made me thought that perhaps i m still having Infection in my stomach so  contacted him again nand he gave same medication and injection for next 3 days for 3times/Day. But when i didnt feel any change with my conditions i dropped that Allopathy treatement and went for Indian Ayurvedic treatment.
Ayurvedic Doctors told me that perhaps i hav had more dosage of Anti-biotic and that made my digestion system weak and given treatement for Liver and Swelling in Large Intestines.  and now after taking those Ayurvedic Treatment for ammost 20days my conditions is still same with having 7-8 times Green Stools every day. Though mostly they are are kinda Pasty n Semi-Solid and rarely Solid but all the times they looks very Weired ,Stinking, with Greasy appearence and Mucus. 1 week ago i started having very tiny Blood Droplets with my Green Stools with mucusthat ahve been only increased day by day till date. I am also feeling cramps on left side of stomach [abdominals]. I have consulted with many Allopathy Doctors and they are doubting that if I have some symptoms of Intestinal T.B. or Ulcerative Colitis. I am goin to have a Colonoscopy Test very soon and may be for CT Scan for whole Abdominal.
I just want your opinion on all this story as I have mentioned all my conditions and Symptoms that according to your expertise what exactly Trouble I am having. Please advice. What it can be - IBS[Irritating Bowel Syndrome], Ulcerative Colitis or Intestinal T.B. or is it possible that my Lever engymes are not fine coz of that over-dose of Anti-biotics or something else.? Is there some thing really serious. for which I shoud worry about and take immediatie action.
Please....Please reply back soon. Me and My family is living with real trouble by last 20 days or so...!! I shall be very Greatful to you .
With Lots of REGARDS-
