Trying to find help treating Pancreatitis after Gastric Bypass

Hello,  My Sister In Law has been in hospital for past 3 weeks(changed Hospital once), the diagnosis is pancreatitis
but the lab work does not agree with this. Her Amylase is low 40's, Her Lipase is 20's. The rest of her Chems., and
Heme results are normal. She just started having increased Glucose the past 5 days. She had Gastric Bypass Surgery in 2001 and had many problems after including having her Gall Bladder removed. She is in extreme pain and
they are afraid to go in and do exploratory due to the Gastric Bypass. We are so concerned and wonder if anyone else has had a something like this happen and what were the results? Maybe someone could direct us to a medical ream that has experience with this problem.

Well after x-rays and C scans they found a mass on her vertebrae and went in to do
emergency surgery. Worried about possible paralysis due to pressure on the spinal cord from the mass. Not sure if it is infection or what, the surgeon described what he found around was white and rubber in substance. The surgeon said it was invasive and some of the vertebrae from T9 - T12 were degenerated and the head to one of her ribs was gone
and that this had been going on for some time and would have been reason for her severe
pain. We found all this out when she came out of surgery this am at about 4am. She has since woken and moved her toes. She seems to be feeling much better on the pain level.
So far the Micro and Fungal results have been negative. The path reviews should be back
by Tuesday. If anyone has seen or knows what a white rubber like substance might be please let us know. Thank you.

The hospital said there was nothing else they could do and checked her out. No pain meds and excessive fluid build up in her legs. She went home and tried to sleep sitting
up in a chair in the livingroom. Severe pain and no rest , she collapsed on the floor and
the ambulance picked her up and took her to a different hospital. They placed a urinary
catheter and she filled the urine bag to 2000 ml's. They are doing x-rays and CT scan.
She is in emergency and we are waiting on results. Boy are we at a loss for what is going on. If anyone has ever had similiar problems would sure appreciate some imput. Thank you.
