Tumor?

by Freebird1002, Oct 02, 2001 12:00AM
I have been worried about a stomach tumor.
In march I took a depopravera shot it was my first shot and my next shot wasnt to be due untill june.
I started having some problems with lack of energy and tiredness and I told myself I wasnt going to take my next shot.
My last period was March 25th
I still havent gotten another one even though I didnt take my second shot in June.
In the middle of June I was getting what I thought was morning sickness.
Having stomach problems and my asthma was acting up which usually only acts up if I am pregnant.
I have tooken 2 pregnacy test which both came up negative.
For the past month I have been feeling as though I am about 6 1/2 months pregnant.
I have been feeling what I thought was movement.
I have been getting real sharp pains at the bottom of my stomach kind of feelings of pulling a muscle.
It is happening around my cecearean line.
My stomach is real hard at the top and sides and bottom as if I am pregnant.
I went into the doctor to have a blood test last week.
Ive gained 10 pounds since last month.
While I was there I was seeing a ph assistant and she went ahead and gave me a vagina exam, Blood test, belly exam, and listened.
All negative. My neighbor told me that she had the same exact symtoms when she had a tumor in her stomach.
When I had my second child 3 years ago I Had a hematoma (blood clot) About the size of a baseball. At bottom of stomach same spot where I am now having pain.
Doctors felt it and said it will go away on its own.
My questions is could a blood clot turn into a tumor?
And Do I have symtoms?

It does not sound to me like you have a tumor. It does sound like you are pregnant, but I guess that's been ruled out. Cancer does not usually cause asthma flare-ups, feelings of movement, or weight gain. If your stomach hardness ("...top, bottom, and sides...") were caused by a tumor, that would be one HUGE tumor, and you would be having severe problems  - I would think.

What are the chances that you and your neighbor have the same exact symptoms and diagnosis?

I definitely don't mean to diminish your symptoms, but I just think you may be jumping to conclusions. I would continue to pursue this with another physician if you're not comfortable with your current one's course of action.
