Twisted Colon

Xrays taken on 1/8/2010 should minor twisted colon.  Diagnosis unknown at this time but symptoms included pain in the back right, center and left side mild to moderate.  Ruled out lung infection; ruled out kidney stones; Not yet known - associated with back pain?  associated to having a twisted colon?  Therefore, my question is can having a twisted colon cause back pain and swelling - and if yes, can it be treated without surgery.

Yes, a twisted colon can cause back pain and swelling.  For a minor twist I don't know if you can get by without surgery, but keep in mind that it may twist more which would require immediate surgery.
