Twisted Stomach in an infant
I cannot make it to a Dr. Until Wed. The emergency room said his stomach had turned over and he would have to be seen by a specialist. No medications were given. It has been 2 days since his last bowel movement. Is there something I can feed him or give him to help him through
the next 5 days?

Hi there!

He could try taking plenty of water to soften the stools. If this does not seem to help, he could try OTC stool softener/ laxative (milk of magnesia or a glycerin suppository). If the symptoms do not tend to relieve themselves with these recommendations it is advised to consult a doctor.
Hope this information was helpful.

Take care!
