Unexplained body odor

Hey guys, I'm 19 and I think I've pretty much reached the end of my tether but I'm still trying. I've dropped out of college and I rarely leave the house in fear of humiliation. I've had B.O for 8 months, first two months were intermittent, next 2 months the odor went completely, now it's chronic for 4 months. I've taken probiotics, chlorophyll, zinc, mg citrate, b2, b6, vit b complex, activated charcoal, folic acid, and digestive enzymes. The odor hasn't lessened and I changed my diet to a anti-candida/low fodmap/alkeline diet. Nothing. I've had blood tests, they came back normal. Last doctor gave me anti-acids because my abdomin has a constant burning sensation. They don't seem to help. The odor has been describe as 'sweat, ****, ****' and even alcoholy, people itch their noises and cough. So I think it's a faecal/sulphur odor. My nose itches, my tongue is coated, I have constipation and I have a constant post nasal drip. So, as you can see I've tried most things with little success. I do think it's gastro related   but I'm oblivious. I don't understand how someone can smell even when they don't eat anything. Thanks guys

Hey guys I have a huge problem, since I turned 16 I woke up 1 morning and did the same routine, bath brush my teeth but this particular morning I smelled musty....I'm 30 now and the smell remains....I shower 3-4x a day and nothing changed...my hair stinks within 2 days of washing it, my underarm smells, I tried every deodorant on the market, and I always get BacTerial infection down below.....I am so depressed about this matter. I hide out in my home because the smell bothers and iritates my nose....n it also bothers other people.....help I can't stand the smell of my own body....y is thiis happening?

Try getting tested for H. Pylori ASAP. This may be the reason you have this smell.

I would recommend talking to your doctor about going on treatment for thrush, which it sounds like you might have.  Have you tried eliminating anything like lactose or gluten from your diet?  Are you seeing a therapist?

Hi, I think my odor is coming from my stomach, out through my esophogus aswell as being excreted through my pours.

if the smell comes from the anus, whats that mean? Is it bacteria?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Can you tell if the smell is coming from your mouth, anus, or your entire body?  Have you asked your parents or close friends if they smell it only when you are around?
