Unusual location of Distal Small Bowel

Unusual location of Distal Small Bowel

Hi

A CT Scan just indicated that I have an unusual location of the distal small bowel.

Is there a list of the best gastroenterologolists/surgeons for such an issue in Boston, MA?

Also, what are causes  this usually?

Thanks!

An unusual location - if it's something like the ileal end - may mean that the cecum, to which it's attached, may not have migrated in the typical fashion as it was programed to do during embryology.
