Upper Right Side Pain - ITS BEEN TWO YEARS. NO ANSWERS.

I mean really.  You'd think someone would be able to help me out after all this time.  It goes in cycles, sometimes it's terrible, and sometimes its not as bad - but it's always there.  Eating makes it worse which confused my 1st and 2nd gastroenterologist as all my tests came back normal.  MRI on liver, hida scan and ultra sound on gallbladder.  Blood work was all fine.  I have acid reflux although the pain is present at times when reflux and heartburn are absent.  It's on the right side, under my last rib - usually on my back though lately moves to the side as well as the front, depending.  I'm extremely uncomfortable and I'm starting to feel like I'm nuts.  I was glad to see that others here share my problem so at least I'm not alone.  Any feedback?

Photo Girl, talk to your doc about the possibility that you may be experiencing sphincter of Oddi dysfunction. It typically shows up after a gallbladder is removed, but it may in fact be there and actually causing the 'gallbladder pain' and is only uncovered after the gallbladder is gone.

There are som antispasm meds you can try. There are also specific calcium channel blockers that can be used.

Are you following a low fat diet? It is of help to some people.
