Upper abdomen pain

Upper abdomen pain

I have been having really bad stomach pain for about 4 months off and on again.  I believe it's directly correlated to alcohol and I've been a heavy weekend drinker for 10 years.  I saw a GI and had an EGD and colonoscopy with biopsies and a CT scan.  All came back negative.  The first time I had blookwork, but haven't since.  My GI said stop drinking but I would like an actual diagnosis.  My CT scan was a week after pain onset, would this have definitely shown acute pancreatitis?  Would else could it be?  The pain onsets about 12 hours after drinking and resides after 3 days.  I seem to run a mild fever/sweat on the first day of the pain.  I have a little loss of appetite but I pretty much eat normally.  The pain keeps me up at night and I'd rate it a 7/10.    Thanks.
