in a way because the scope can do some scraping and minor damage which will heal by itself as it is going in and out and moving around so any scraping that may have happenned has to heal just like any scrape
has to heal so that is probably what is going on but just to be safe i would tell your doctor about it asap but he will probably tell you the same thing i just told you. hang in there it should heal up in a week or so or maybe even less. not to scare you but if the symptoms are really bad and you can't find your doctor i would go to an ER just to make sure the scope didn't do any serious damage but like i said it is kind of invasive so most people would probably have some symptoms after the procedure until they heal. the same thing happens to me every time i have any type of scope examination and i have had many and they all healed themselves within a week or less. this should help you.
Thanks ... I feel a little better today but it still kind of feels like I have a golf ball right under my ribs and my throat feels swollen off and on. I'm kind of eating a light diet today thinking that might help.
