Upper stomach burns

Mother is 60yrs she have been having upper stomach burns, what can l do.

Do you know the cause of the burning in your mom's stomach? The problem is if we automatically assume it's due to gastritis and GERD and it's something more serious, we could end up giving you advice that could 'mask' what might truly being going on. Has she seen her doctor? That would be the best place to try to figure out what's going on. You might also want to consider what meds your mother is taking and check to see whether any of them could be causing problems. Sometimes individual meds, or combinations, can cause stomach discomfort.

You may also want to take a look at what she eats and try to correlate the appearance of stomach problems with the ingestion of any specific food groups.
