Upper stomach spasms and gas

Four days ago I started getting upper stomach spasms right below my ribcage. After each spasm I would either belch or have flatulence and after releasing gas my stomach would feel alot better. My stomach is making alot of noises as well.

Also after I would eat my stomach would feel much better but the first 2 days I have very little appetite.

The spasms were strong four days ago and now I have less gas and much fewer spasms, and more of an apetite but I still do not feel 100% yet.

Any idea what is causing this?

I see you posted this almost a year ago.  It sounds identical to what I am experiencing now.  Did you ever find out what was going on with you or did it ever clear up on it's own?  If it cleared up, how long did it take?  I've been dealing with this for two weeks now.  The symptoms are less severe, but still present.
