Violently gag almost every time i get hungry... But i eat regularly

Hello,

Im a 6ft 24 year old female weighing about 334Ibs. I have been dealing with this gagging thing for 4yrs now. I find myself gagging every time i get hungry rather than my stomach growling. Im not in the best shape obviously neither are my eating habits other than me cutting out caffeine recently. I love to eat so every post ive came across wasnt any help. I have hypothyroidism and still somehow ive amazed my doctor recently with the fact that i am NOT diabetic whatsoever. My blood tests came out A+++ perfect and i have no need to prick my finger. She says I'm VERY lucky. I dont stuff my face but also refuse to go hungry. My stomach hasnt growled since i was a little kid. However over the years it slowly has been replaced with slight nausea and gagging. Ive never thrown up. I dont have any other symtoms. Just gagging like you saw or smelled something really volatile. Once i eat i can feel it traveling down into my stomach and drop into my stomach as it is literally empty even though i ate 2-3hrs ago. After that first bite i immediately feel relief once it's in my stomach. Even a few gulps of water can relieve it.... But then if i dont eat a full meal itll come back. I dont get headaches or get dizzy. I dont even feel weak. If i dont eat soon enough though i do get a little drained. I dont excercize and im very much a hermit do to some mental issues that dont apply to this. What's wrong with me? Sometimes my stomach will have hunger pains and as soon as they start so viciously and so sudden so does my gagging. I have to stop what im doing and eat something. However... This isnt always consistent but not often. Sometimes my body wont even tell me it's hungry and will go hybernate for a day or two and i have to make a conscious decision to eat before i forget. Over the years ive gotten use to eating even if my stomach doesnt inform me to avoid the feeling or embarressment of gagging loudly when in public like im some dieing seal which helps but it's not helping my weight issues. I have tried eating on a schedual and it only made it worse but at the same time every day or sometimes in between. No doctor will take me serious about this because im fat and unhealthy and wanna say it's because i eat too much. I drown myself in water for 24/7 once every two weeks and am very hydrated so says my doctor. The week in between is when i let myself drink some koolaid as long as i drink water too. Oh n when i get hungry i get bad breath like i had a full nights rest even though ive brushed my teeth. So again, what's going on with me? My body seems to be one big contrition considering how slow it functions due to my hypothyroidism.

Has anyone figured this out yet? I literally have the EXACT same thing going on. I keep water with me at all times because it will help for a couple of minutes.

You may need a thyroidectomy as it may be interfering with your swallowing by.pushing on the esophagus. Be careful with your teeth though as this can cause many problems with people that have thyroid disorders and it is common to have "halitosis " with a thyroid disorder. It could be an underlying g infection. So, talk to your doctor about what you want to do. Is it time for a thyroidectomy? Are you.losing hair? Get back with me. See if it is an infection .
