Vomiting in the morning only

About three months ago I had a traumatic break up with my girlfriend of 4 years.

Since then, I've been vomiting every morning when I get up.

The vomit seems as though it is slime, but pro-longed vomiting yiels a yellow fluid which I've been told is acid by my MD.

I have yet to go for the camera swallow procedure, but I'm almost certain this is a case of stress.

My work also puts a lot of strain on me, along with the post break up stress.

Is there anything I can do about this besides going the camera way?

I would get the test done done just to make sure everything is ok. Or wait and see if it passes by. Stress can do alot to you. It sounds like you have alot.

If the camera swallow you refer to is an endoscopy, it's really not a big deal, aside from being out of commission for a day or so. The only reason it's a little worse than a colonoscopy is that you'll have a little sore throat for a day or two. Other than that, I couldn't tell they'd been in my body. That, and the sedatives seemed to still have a very light effect the next day as they worked out of my system, but I didn't mind being a little slower for a day or two! The only thing I'd suggest is that you ask that they make sure you have plenty of the sedative going through you. I woke up for a split second, and it's not necessarily something I am eager to remember. If I have to do it again some day, I'll remind them to keep the drugs coming until we're done! Good luck!
