Vomiting up long white rubbery tube

by inky9, Jul 04, 2009 02:26AM
I have had some quite serious tummy problems and heartburn feels like glass stuck in throat when I swallow.  I have vomitted 2 times and I threw up this long white spongy tube both times.  Can someone please tell me what this is????

Doesn't sound normal or good, get to a doctor or your ER!

It sounds as though you're having a problem with either esophageal issues or acid issues. The long white 'thing' may be heavy mucus that is being produced by your body to try to protect the surfaces of your esophagus and stomach. It's time to call your doc and get the upper portion of your GI tract evaluated. It probably isn't something that you're going to be able to handle on your own.
