Watermelon Stomach

by BibiLin, Jul 15, 2001 12:00AM
I posted a question before about having no symptoms but anemia (I had been diagnosed with "idiopathic gastritis").  I just had another gastroscopy and the gastroenterologist now says it is Watermelon Stomach.  He was "leaning toward surgery" but when I panicked, he said he would send me to another specialist who did laser treatments.

Does anyone know anything about Watermelon Stomach, or the laser treatments, or what kind of surgery he would be thinking of?

I'd appreciate any comments.
