Weigh gainer 2200 for someone with gastroparesis???

A few weeks ago, my mom was diagnosed with gastroparesis. It has made her VERY sick, and she's taking medicine to work itself out. She went hypothyroid, and changed her synthroid dosage and is back to normal thyroid levels- so naturally her stomach is adjusting and getting better because of this.
My question is, over the last two months she has lost her appetite and a significant amount of weight because of the diagnosis (and a severe bought of depression from all of this).
She is 5'5'' 110 lbs (usually she is around 127lbs). She can't put on weight because she doesn't eat much, and has a complete lack of appetite (plus her metab. is high). I suggested weight gainer 2200 because she can drink an 8oz glass and have more than enough calories, and start putting on weight rather quickly, so she can get some energy back and stop fretting about being so thin.
I guess I need to know if this is safe?
She takes synthroid for not having a thyroid
she has high cholesterol (takes medication for it)
she currently started taking celexa for depression
she was taking reglan for her slow stomach but it was causing other severe issues and she stopped- soon she will be taking domperidone.
she takes xanax 2-3 times a day (which alleviates depression caused nausea until the celexa kicks in.
I need to know if it's ok to have this many calories and this much protein/nutrition in one drink. I say too much nutrition- because is it possible that the body could go into "shock" from 200% of your daily need of Niacin, vitamin b-12 or for example, when you previously had next to none in your system?
I'm only on here asking because her family doctor is out today and tomorrow.  She called and asked for some other things today and they wouldn't give her answers unless she came in.  She has met with her endocronologist and her gastroenterologist in the last few weeks and has been on the phone with them numerous other times, but this is not something she remembered to bring up, so I am asking the community. (in case anyone asks why I'm wasting my time on the internet)
Also, has anyone else had slow stomach before?  Could you share your issues with this?
Anyone ever start taking celexa and get extreme nausea during the first few days?  I would like to ease her mind.

I know how your mom feels. I am hypothyroid and have gatroparisis. I have tried reglan and domperidon, they didn't work. Synthroid is not the best thyroid med out there. Armour thyroid seems to help those with gastroparisis because we are usually low in T3 which armour thyroid has and no other thyroid meds have it. The only problem is that even though its been around a long time, the doses aren't always the same as it comes from animal (pigs). It really helped my gastroparisis.Also asked your mom who she hasn't forgiven in her life. Its a spiritual thing but if you go onto beinhealth.com you will understand.
