Weird Question I know

Weird Question I know

I too had this procedure Nissan Fundoplication  about 10 years ago,  it helped my reflux which is awesome. but now I am having problems swallowing,  and this is the weird part.. It feels like something is pulling tight inside. I get this feeling behind my throat and its really frightening sometimes.  I cannot drink at all, it will burn and send me through the roof even a glass of wine.  I have no insurance as of now,  so I put this off and put this off. but it really does concern me. does anyone have this problem with a burning sensation and chest pains follows.

It's possible the Nissen has loosened to the point that you are experiencing reflux again, although the symptoms you're experiencing may be different than the ones you initally had. The operation has a 'life' that is suggested to be about 10 or 12 years in most individuals. You may need to consult with the doc who did your surgery.
