What about the diet??

by JoJo283, Mar 22, 2008 03:57PM
What about the diet?  I just had the Endoscopy procedure yesterday.  The results were that there was possible Barrett's esophagus noted from 37 cm from the incisors.  Multiple pinch biopsies were obtained from the distal esophagus and the gastroesophageal junction.  I will not know until next Monday or Tuesday.  But what about diet??  Has anyone been given a diet from a gastro. doctor?

This discussion is related to Barrett's Esophagus.

You might consider a GERD diet. You can find a representative example at www.gicare.com. It will give you a list of food groups to avoid.
