What do stools with fecal fat smell like?

Do they smell like normal poop, or completely different, I know it is very foul, but does it still smell like poop? Please describe?

Also, even if you had a slight fat malabsorption would your stools still be noticeably different and still smell foul?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  In my experience, when I had a fat malabsorption, my stools only looked different, they didn't smell any different.  You can also have a fat malabsorption without having any symptoms at all (meaning no stool change at all).
