What does this mean and what should I do?

I was in a car accident in December of 2005, as part of the patient care a CT abdomen was performed. Yesterday August 21st, 2006 my attorney called, she said when reviewing my CT report she thought I should know this and possibly F/U with my Dr.
this is word for word what it said CT report said .
The patient has multiple low density foci within the liver, indeterminat for etilogy. They are not clearly cyst. the largest of these lesions measure 18 mm in diameter and is present within the medial segment of the left lobe. there are at least three discrete lesions present.
What are these and what does this mean? And how aggressive should I be with my dr. there were to seperate charts, 1 for this motor vehicle accident, and the other my regular chart

I would consider further evaluation. The liver lesions can range from benign causes like a cyst or hemangioma to serious causes like cancer.
Further tests like an ultrasound and/or an MRI can give a more definitive diagnosis.
These options can be discussed with your personal physician.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
