What if...? Response

Hey Calgal:
Thanks so much for taking the time to provide a detailed response.  The ERCP was on September 7, 2007.  The GI Doc writes, "We tried to do an ERCP last week but were unable to get into her bile duct because the papilla was pointing downwards. Of course, she had a lot of pain, discomfort and vomiting afterward."  He says nothing about the SOD.  There is no mention of manometry.
At the hospital my liver enzyme and pancreatic enzyme levels were normal.
I'm afraid you're right about the surgeon.  At the first visit, she yelled at me and had me in tears which is really rare for me.
The pain becomes unbearable without the meds.
