What is it?

What is it?

I'm a 19 year old male in college, and for the past week or so I have had a blister looking bump between my buttcrack.  I don't think it is actually on my anus, but is on the bottom of the crack on the right check only, right where the actual crack turns into nothing.  For the first few days it was extremely painful to sit on, about an inch long and couple of mm inflamed, very hard, and very red.  It began to start feeling better after a few days but when I pooped once it began to bleed.  the blood was bright red, and i do not believe it came from my anus but this blister sort of thing.  Since then it has reduced in size, and only occassionally during the day gives me discomfort, I have been showering twice a day now to keep the area clean, but when I'm not showering a whitish yellow substance comes out that is sticky, has a moderate smell (not overly strong but you can it smells old and gross when you wipe it or it leaves a spot on underwear), and then hardens up to the hairs.
I have some guesses from looking around the internet, but I'm not really sure because self-checking symptoms  I don't feel like it is as bad as it would making it seem.  Most symptoms i see it says it is coming from the anus, and i don't believe it is so I am confused.  Any help would be gretly appreciated as well as if I should do anything to make it better on its own because im in college and going to the doctor would be a pain bc the schools medical is mainly for sicknesses, and going home would not be advisable if it is not serious.  Like I said it feels better for the most part except for this white discharge from the blister like item which is not just a smaller red bump, and occasionally has some discomfort.
