What is the normal reading for ALT
Dear Dr.
I have been attending the liver clinic at my local hospital for several years for a liver malfunction.in December my
ALT
Alternative medicine - pain relief
Consumer rights and responsibilities
Day care health risks
Diet and good health
Galactose-1-phosphate uridyltransferase
Obesity and health
Pharmacy alternatives
Physical exam frequency
Pregnancy - health risks
Preventive health care
Thrombolytic therapy
reading was 200 but when i attended a few days ago it had gone down to 40. What is the normal reading for
ALT

I'm not a doctor and know very little about this stuff. I'm not certain about this so you may want to call your local lab but I was told the following:
Alk phos should range from 20 to 60
GGT should range from 20 to 60
ALT
Alternative medicine - pain relief
Consumer rights and responsibilities
Day care health risks
Diet and good health
Galactose-1-phosphate uridyltransferase
Obesity and health
Pharmacy alternatives
Physical exam frequency
Pregnancy - health risks
Preventive health care
Thrombolytic therapy
should range from 10 to 60
AST should range from 15 to 40
You can also go to Lab Tests Online at http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/cbc/glance.html and check your results.
